file is to get it via webupdate
component, implemented in Ad-Aware to
install this update.

I have constantly liked and used
Ad-Aware to remove ad-/spyware from
my computer. It has a nice and good
looking interface, which is
protected my pc all the time. It is
very simple to use and works very
well. I give this software all the
points and it is my all time
favorite security

after much frustration
and searching...forum recommended
downloading this software to remove
antispywarecheck trojan...ad-aware
2008 appears to have removed trojan
...although I am having now having
problems with ESRI GIS raster
insertions ( they won't download)
although it may be an independent
problem. Was very relieved to get
rid of the trojan as it was
interfering with mail and program
retrieval. |

Adaware is a
very useful tool, unfortunatly this
version doesn`t work on my W98
machine according to the info on
the website.
My pc works fine but a lot of new
versions of known software (wmp11,
firefox3 and this one) don`t run on
it....wich almost forces me to get
a new
one |

A couple
things...emv, uninstall 2007
before installing the new one.
No sense in having both, and I
do not think 2008 will take out
2007. Also, get SpywareBlaster
(free, but you could dontate).
It blocks spyware from entering
your machine in the first
place. I have blaster,
ad-aware, and spybot. Very
seldom does spybot or ad-aware
detect anything because blaster
prevents it in the first place.
It is a good thing to have a
multiple attack approach when
it comes to this cancer called
spyware! Good
