The stand alone security suite is available in 64 bit version, too. This great package is capable to provide security against viruses, spyware, privacy breaches, phishing attacks, and rootkits.

The default setting scans files during boot, recently accessed files, packed files, incoming and outgoing e-mails. More aggressive setting is available for scanning activity on port 80 and port 443  . BitDefender's HTTP scan blocks malicious ActiveX and JavaScript   which is the part of the antivirus and antispyware protection. Its Identity Privacy option will be initiated very first after opening the program asking you to configure the option.

One of it’s excusive features is the existence of Gamer Mode which lets you play without interceptions caused by pop ups  . BitDefender Antivirus 2008 offers hourly updates.

 It would be better if they have provided more options that only Enable and disable buttons in their interface. Subscription offer is available for both 1 pc and 3 Pcs.

    This is by far the best antivirus out there. A matter of fact it was already the best antivirus. Now it's even better with the new B-HAVE heuristics. This is the only stand-alone program I have ever seen that nearly completely protects your computer 100%. When it comes to viruses and spyware you don't have to worry at all. Bitdefender v10 is a huge upgrade. From what I can tell it uses way less memory. Before it used massive memory. Amazing work guys really.

    First i wan't to say that it helped me to get rid of all the Viruses that my old AV didn't get rid off. The Game Mode is awseome , i finally can play without beeing disturbed by any pop-up or decrease of the performance. I have all what i need in one software.
