This security suite includes SiteAdvisor to inform you which site is trustworthy and which is not. Anyways, the main task of the security suit is to protect you from notorious internet threats like spyware, trojans, adwares, worms, phishing attempts, hijacking attacks and so on.

This tool keeps an eye on emails and attachments to protect you from unsolicited bulk mails or spam messages and from viruses that comes as attachments with emails. Surprisingly true that this tool can automatically takes back up of important files.

To ensure optimum pc performance, the tool removes unnecessary files using its automated PC tune-up feature. The interface is easy to understand as other McAfee products. It has auto updating facility.

McAfee Internet Security Suite 2009 has parental control option. Using this feature you can prevent children from watching unsafe contents. The main weak point of this tool is its firewall.

Users experienced that the firewall is not fully capable to stop hackers. As a well know company McAfee should have improved its firewall. Again, it takes most of the system resources to run its own processes. This makes the pc performance dull.

    Detected a virus and a keylogger (installed by my boyfriend) that spybot, trendmicro, and avast missed. always seems to catch more than the other antivirus programs! i like the shields and how i can password protect spysweeper too. i'll still use the other programs but this one is more reliable.

  Well, if it had a better firewall it would be a good security suite. It has a good anti-virus, above average anti-spyware and a fun to play with but a passive firewall that doesn't do well in penetration teats, can easily be bypassed and, or disabled and it never asked me a single question, not one. If a firewall doesn't ask, I get worried that it's sub par. This is the weak point of this suite.

  McAfee produce is one of the superior anti-virus programs on the market. This suite of tools not only includes this magnificent engine but also provides a software firewall and family security from unnecessary content. I highly recommend this software to all my friends. - By Bishop

  Never thought I'd own McAfee, but they have made great gains. Going to McAfee.com I got it for 59.99 plus shipping and a mail in rebate.

The only issue I have is that my router won't work, therefore I don't have access on my laptop, but sure my cousin can get it figured out tomorrow.

I'm very satisfied and it doesn't overload/slow my system. With Norton my system was slowing and that Zone Alarm was horrid........the total McAfee isn't affecting performance. Way to go McAfee!!

  This products works great. Product is lightweight (does not require lots of memory or tax machine resources). For machines low on memory (< 1 GB), this product will not interfere with other applications to the extent that similar products from Symantec and McAfee do. Also, getting the 3-user edition saves money when installed on multiple machines....
