update is available. Spy Emergency has
more than 1 000,000 threat definitions in
its signature database! The tool can
automatically repairs LSP stack. For
customized setting, scheduling option is
available and also includes Command line
interface.
The
tool keeps infected files in a quarantine
folder. You can exclude files of your
choice from scanning by adding them in
the white list. It supports Individual
items restore
functionality.
Spy

on stopping virus spread from internet
use. It has Site Identity Verifier and
support for Internet Explorer, Mozilla
Firefox and Opera
browsers.
It
also scans emails for suspicious

Spy Emergency software can remove
most of the spyware and spam and it
has a good user interface though.
You can select which scanners you
can use in scanning files. Its
instinctive and clear user
interface is great for spyware
removal. It also detects new and
unknown in the wild malware
threats. |

Did a deep scan(70
minutes) and found a few
infections,tracking cookies from
mozilla and a packer(trojan).Easy
to use and no difference in my pc
speed.I like the shell extension so
I can scan files with a simple
click.I like this newer version a
lot. |

Way too many
false positives also everytime I
restart my computer Spy Emergency
2008 says it finds four new
rootkits thats a bunch of bull. I
hate Spy Emergency 2008 and its off
of my computer for
good. |

Well, it's
fast, light on my system, has
skins so it's attractive and
it's effective at spy-ware,
mal-ware and root-kits. Has a
decent anti-spam module where
all you have to do is enter the
email address and they stop
coming. Good detection and
infections can be removed, not
just quarantined. The shields
are much better & more
vocal in the 2008 version then
they were in 2007. Couple all
that with a huge data base,
(1,024,119 as of todays update)
and it's a good choice in
security. It's especially good
with Vista because it's light
on the systems
resources.
